This Wan Chai cafe serves up Australian-style brunch food and some excellent lattes by day, and a creative dinner menu along with a selection of wine, sake and craft beers by night. A venture started by the first-runner up in the American world latte art championship, Ninetys keeps things simple and only brews up black, white and filter coffee, with only a few varieties – fruity, nutty or a chocolate blend. Either way, they’re all seriously good. The cafe offers tastings notes to go with your coffee, and thoughtful pairings like almonds to go with your fruity blend java. Food wise, try the lobster benedict with salty egg yolk hollandaise sauce ($178) for brunch, and for dinner, we recommend the dinner board ($268) – a customised, choose-your-own-adventure meal. Choose four items from the list that covers high quality meats, grains and greens. If you're extra peckish, you can add additional items for $45.
