Ministry of Mussels

Taking over the old Beef & Liberty spot in California Tower, Ministry of Mussels is a new sports bar-restaurant hybrid that offers American bistro classics and seafood including, yep you guessed it, mussels at incredibly affordable prices. Menu highlights include Italian formaggi mussels made with melted blue cheese, cheddar and pecorino cheese topped with parmesan; Singapore chilli crab mussels in shrimp paste-based sauce; and lobster bisque mussels among others, all of which come either toasted French baguette, French fries, or deep-fried mantou to mop up all of the sauce. They also offer pasta, lobster rolls, baby back ribs, deep-fried Angus beef steak, and more. Happy hour is available daily from 3 to 7pm with house wines and spirits going for just $80; selected draught beer for $75; and two-litre beer towers for $270. The 4,000sq ft space also has a semi-covered alfresco balcony, 11 large TV screens, a beer pong table, and a padded kid's play zone
