Time Out says

The first overseas branch of Jyungin, a popular izakaya in Hokkaido, is located in the old area of Jordan’s Ferry Point. In addition to the signature dishes from the original Japanese store, there are also dishes specially designed for the Hong Kong venue. Must-eat recommendations include sake abalone, venison burger, Japanese Wagyu in miso, and Hokkaido scallop salad with yuzu miso and bonito broth jelly, among other dishes. There is also an open okonomiyaki (Japanese omelette) counter set up near the entrance. The chef prepares okonomiyaki with a special recipe developed by himself, creating a softer omelette available in four flavours: pork, beef, seafood and cheese.

Jyungin offers a variety of rare Japanese sake and wine, as well as a Sake Flight which allows you to try three high-quality sakes at a discounted price. The overall experience reveals sakes that tastes a little sweet and refreshing, layered with fruity notes. It can be enjoyed as an aperitif or paired with light food like the abalone dish.
