This place has gone through a major face-lift since it first opened in 1968. The sons of the owner took this old favourite and turned it into a slick modern eatery complete with wicker furniture and palm trees. The menu remains the same and the same chef (who has been here since 1968) is still in the kitchen as regulars would stop coming if they dared take one item off the menu. Try their stewed beef rendang and satays. Meal for one without wine and service: around $150
