Known as the master of beef, the man behind Good Fortune is the 70-year-old formidable chef Lam Sum who can apparently make up to 100 dumpling within a minute – all beautifully wrapped and in equal sizes. Lam recently came out from retirement to share the art of noodle-making – a secret technique he tried and perfected over the years – with Good Fortune. Here, the pork filling of every dumpling is delicately chopped by hand, paired with tiger prawns resulting in a delightful combo. Another must eat is the beef brisket, braised using a secret recipe to give the meat its intense and unforgettable flavour.
