El Cerdo

With the Island being so far away for so many, it might seem that good quality tapas is out of reach. Luckily, El Cerdo, the popular tapas bar on Lockhart Road has a second branch in Tsuen Wan that serves up the same quality bites. The pork belly and scallops ($98) were recommended, and while at first seems an unorthodox pairing, the flavours and textures of both work very well. Their 60 month aged Iberico ham ($218) is also priced a lot lower than other Spanish joints, but definitely doesn’t skimp on the quality. Both branches also offer extremely affordable lunch sets, if you want an upgrade from the everyday takeout.
