Opening its second location after its first venue in Elements’s Mall Civic Square, casual bistro District 8 opens in Tseung Kwan O to serve lunch, dinner, and weekend brunch with menus featuring French classics and comfort food. Think confit duck leg and cheese platters, mussels marinieres, escargot baked in XO butter, garlic and parsley, steak frites and much more. This can be paired with their creative cocktails and wines including ‘Beef It’, a Wagyu beef fat-washed bourbon and whisky-based cocktail with burnt honey syrup, and bitters, the ‘French breakfast martini’ which uses a butter croissant-infused vodka and blends it with strawberry marmalade, egg white, and fresh lemon, among other intriguing beverages. The new venue also benefits from a walk-in wine cellar, pastry counter, and semi-covered alfresco patio that offers harbour views of the Tathong Channel.
