Modern Spanish tapas restaurant Chueca has opened on Gough Street in Central and names itself after the Madrid city centre district where there are plenty of tapas bars. The light blue interior welcomes diners to enjoy a selection of Spanish delicacies including classics such as croquetas de jamón ($60) along with creative adaptations like chef’s rusa ($150) which has a layer of sherry marinated salmon roe. Chueca also offers brunch for an easy going $588 per person which includes a fresh seafood platter, tapas, main, and dessert with free-flow ($198) including Negroni, Red Sangria, Cava, wines and beer.
