Time Out says

Located in Yuen Long, Both Street serves Taiwanese-style gua bao (or stuffed buns) that are very popular in both traditional and creative combinations, and regulars keep returning to the long winding queues at the shop for them. The store was awarded Michelin Guide 2022's Bib Gourmand distinction after opening for less than a year, and if you've ever eaten the gua bao here, you'll know why. Owner So Gun has worked in several Michelin starred restaurants that specialise in Italian-French cuisine and his culinary craftsmanship is unquestionable.

The shop's main focus is on the Taiwanese street food-style snack bao (bun), with added fusion elements and diverse styles. Take the pineapple spicy fried chicken bao and kimchi cheese fried chicken bao, for example, which are both quite contemporary and creative. If you prefer the more traditional taste of gua bao, the original flavour may be more for you. The soft and bouncy bao is filled with braised pork belly and plenty of coriander drizzled with special sauce.

The baos are made in-house every day, with only 100 pieces or so as the daily limit. The gua baos are often sold out before 5pm on weekdays, and even earlier in the afternoon on weekends. For cheese lovers, it's worth trying the four cheese pressed bread – but remember to get the camera ready for an amazing cheese pull! There are also dessert items including taro or matcha pressed bread to try.
