Time Out says

Take a peek at this cool Pinoy hangout spot in Central:

Since the restaurant opened in February, this modern Filipino eatery is fast becoming a stomping ground for after-work crowds in Central. The venue is the brainchild of Filipina food influencer Jen Balisi aka Indulgent Eats and Singular Concepts, the group behind The Daily Tot, Bianco & Rosso, and Tell Camellia. Meaning ‘a group of close friends’ in Tagalog, Barkada is a Filipino experience that combines comforting dishes with contemporary twists such as Jen’s signature spicy funky coconut noodles (138), adobo popcorn chicken ($98) and brown butter pancit canton ($118), while also presenting classics like lumpiang Shanghai and sizzling sisig. To create a more vibrant drinks menu, Barkada has tapped Singular Concepts’ co-founder Gagan Gurung to create a cocktail menu full of Southeast Asian flavours, such as pandan gin, calamansi, and more.
