For those who have tried this small Portuguese restaurant, there is no need to go anywhere else. Afonso III serves up some of the most traditional Macanese dishes. Try the hearty vegetable soup followed by a cod-fish dish, any cod-fish dish as they are all great. There's usually a cod fish choice on the daily special board, so if you are lost for all its choices go for that one. Be cautious of the large family-style portions while you are ordering. Remember one main dish feeds four.
