This is not a drill. Jurrasic Park is about to become a reality in Hong Kong as a 12-metre-long Tyrannosaurus Rex fossil makes it way to IFC mall atrium on June 7, just in time for the release of Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom.
The enormous dino installation is part of a new exhibition, Meet The T.REX – co-presented by the First Initiative Foundation – which will see a range of dinosaur fossils displayed for Hongkongers to marvel at, as well as AR-powered interactive checkpoints. Running until June 27, this is also your chance to get up close and personal with a 65 million-year-old T-rex thigh bone. Too bad there’s no Jeff Goldblum with an open shirt waiting for us.
So don’t say you’re too busy to go check it out in person, life finds a way...
