The city's pandemic situation may be slowing down, but we all know mask-wearing is not going to stop any time soon.
While there are many local brands manufacturing high-quality masks and protective wear in Hong Kong, Japan's highly sought-after AIRism mask by Uniqlo still seems to be the hottest item on the market (it sold out within just hours of release in Japan). Well, the wait is over, as the masks are finally available for purchase starting today!
Using the same fabric from the brand's popular AIRism line – known for its comfort and breathability – the reusable mask can effectively help block out bacteria and other harmful air particles with a BFE of up to 99 percent and a pollen particle filtration efficiency of up to 99 percent. Consisting of three layers, the mask also blocks out 90 percent UV rays (UPF 50+). What's more, it can also be machine washed up to 20 times at 40 degrees Celsius.
