The Gig Week returns with a new name and lineup details

Seven days, seven venues, seven genres. It’s a winning formula that made last year’s inaugural The Gig Week a rousing success, helping to showcase some of the city’s best indie talent. So it’s great news then that the seven-day festival is returning next month between April 15 and 21! Now known simply as The Week, this year's iteration will once again bring together some of Hong Kong’s best live music acts from across metal, hip-hop, prog rock, world music and soul funk, as well featuring a girls night – where you can check out awesome talent like So It Goes, pictured – and a special local showcase event.

Five venues have been confirmed with Ping Pong 129 Gintoneria, The Hub, This Town Needs, Mom Live House and new kid on the block Lost Stars already on board.
