Heads up, Quarry Bay: Pici is coming your way. At least temporarily, that is. Every Monday to Friday from May 6-19, Pici is bringing its food truck to Taikoo Place and setting up shop there from 11.30am until 2.30pm over the lunch hour.
The pop-up Pici is collaborating with Impossible Foods to dole out some special dishes, including a lasagna made with Impossible ragu ($50), fresh tagliatelle ($50) and a classic tiramisu ($40) to cap your veg-friendly Italian lunch.
The food truck rolls into Quarry Bay in the lead up to the launch of the latest Pici branch out in Lai Chi Kok. As a way to tie it all together, Pici is giving customers at its food truck a stamp card. Visit any (or all, if you have the stomach space) of Pici’s outlets in Wan Chai, Central, Tsim Sha Tsui and Sha Tin to collect stamps. Collect all the stamps to get a special prize that can be redeemed by visiting the new Lai Chi Kok outlet.
Or, better yet, just visit the new Lai Chi Kok branch during lunch at 12pm and dinner at 6pm on Friday, May 17, to try the restaurant’s pasta for free. Yes, totally free. The no-pay pasta plates are limited to 200 during each time slot, so you'll want to get there early to make sure you get the goods.
