If you were one of the city’s many foodies who went into a frenzy when Mister Donut opened in Tsim Sha Tsui this October, you’ll be thrilled to know that another beloved Japanese pastry franchise, Truffle Bakery, is set to make its debut in Hong Kong this December. This widely popular bakery has taken Japan by storm with its indulgent truffle-infused treats, and we expect their baked goods to create just as much buzz in Hong Kong too. Here’s all the important info you need to know about this highly-anticipated bakery opening.

When will Truffle Bakery open in Hong Kong?

According to its official website, Truffle Bakery is scheduled to open by December 15.

What’ll be available on the menu at Truffle Bakery?

While we don’t know for sure, the Japanese bakery will likely offer their signature white truffle salted bread rolls made with Canadian flour, Alba white truffles, and French sea salt. Each bread roll is stuffed with a generous pat of homemade truffle-infused butter and garnished with truffle oil and flaky sea salt. Additionally, customers can expect to enjoy crowd-pleasing flaky pastries and savouries like truffle-infused scrambled egg sandwiches.

What is Truffle Bakery and why are they famous?

As their name suggests, Truffle Bakery specialises in creating irresistible truffle-infused treats. The bakery first opened in Toyko’s Monzennakacho district back in 2007. Since then, the humble shop has expanded and opened several locations across Japan, ranging from to-go vendors in subway stations to brick-and-mortar shops in residential areas.
