The salted egg fish skin craze is clearly here to stay. The popular savoury snack first – which first originated from Singapore – has now taken over Hong Kong. And one of the main manufacturers, Irvins, has just opened up a pop-up store today at Habour City’s The Gateway.
Though the exact dates when the pop-up store ends have yet to be confirmed, there’s been chatter that Irvins might soon open a more permanent shop at Harbour City. And hey, at least we no longer have to beg our friends in Singapore for a sniff of that salted egg goodness!
