Hong Kong Winterfest events and activities
This year's Christmas Town is bigger than ever, featuring busy gnomes, nearly 100 gift boxes of different shapes and sizes, and of course, a 20-metre-tall Christmas tree adorned with twinkling Christmas lights. Aside from the Christmas tree, visitors can explore a festive light tunnel, meet Santa Claus in his cosy hut from December 21 to 26 (except for December 23), and enjoy live handbell and choir performances. Don't miss the dazzling Christmas Tree light projections that will take place every 30 minutes from 6pm onwards, with each session lasting about two minutes.
When is the Hong Kong Christmas fireworks?
Visitors will be feeling extra merry on December 24, 25, and 26, 2024, as a harbourfront fireworks display will illuminate the sky with festive patterns and colours. Each show begins at 8pm and lasts about 10 minutes, so make sure you get there early to bag yourself a good vantage spot!
