Sustainability is increasingly a priority for Hongkongers. The local F&B industry has been leading the way, not just in its increasingly noticeable campaign to eliminate plastic straws. When it comes to clothing, Redress, a non-profit organisation working to reduce waste in the fashion industry, has long been one of the leading lights in our city. If you’re keen to update your look for summer without hurting the planet, the charity’s four-day pop-up next month is the answer to your wardrobe worries. The pop-up will take place from Tuesday July 3 until Friday 6 and the pre-loved clothing collection has every fashion style covered, with everything from Armani to Zara.
Even better, customers who bring clothes along to donate will receive a 10 percent discount on their purchases and anyone who spends over $500 will be entered into a prize draw to win organic skincare goodies worth more than $1,000. Just remember to bring your own bag.
