Throughout August, Royal Plaza Hotel’s La Scala is transformed into a world of Monopoly with a series of themed cuisines. From savoury dishes to desserts, the buffet features food that represents different districts around Hong Kong such as The Peak, Tsim Sha Tsui, Central and Mong Kok. Look forward to savouring local delicacies such as broiled Boston lobster, typhoon shelter crab and sweet treats such as orange truffle chocolate cake, raspberry chocolate tart, an apricot lemon and basil white chocolate mousse cake that looks uncannily like a Monopoly board, and more Monopoly-themed desserts. The paper placemat even opens to a Monopoly board so you can play while eating – just don’t let your mamas catch you.
