Neighbourhood Vietnamese restaurant Co Thanh has announced that it will be welcoming the celebrated chef behind Beet restaurant, Barry Quek, to the kitchen for this weekend only. The collaboration will see Quek cooking up Malaysian favourites like Nyonya Laksa ($118) and a limited selection of snacks that will transport those that eat here to the hawker centres of the chef's native Singapore.
Of course, the weekend wouldn't be complete without something nice to drink, and so Co Thanh has brought in Hong Kong-based Japanese spirit importers Sunday Spirits to assist in making the cocktails. There are three sessions on both Saturday and Sunday that hungry diners are encouraged to book onto. The time slots for both days are 4pm to 5.30pm, 6pm to 7.30pm, and 8 to 9.30pm. Make your booking via eventbrite.
