Following the popularity of acclaimed Scottish artist Jim Lambie’s mind-bending art installation that brightened up Pacific Place during Art Month, shoppers can now get snap-happy with a stunning new mirror installation in place from now until August 27.
The massive mirrored column sits on top of a large floral canvas in the Garden Court, reflecting passers-by and the flowers below from different angles. You can play around with your backdrop simply by walking closer or further away; even a single step to the side can totally mix things up. But the really fun part is when you walk inside, where you’re immersed within an infinity garden – because of the mirrors reflecting back and forth – created by local floral artist Kirk Cheng.
