Carly Rae Jepsen, who’s responsible for hits like ‘Call Me Maybe’ and ‘Party For One’, is coming to Hong Kong this October. The Canadian pop star is returning to Hong Kong as part of a world tour in promotion of her new album Dedication.

For those just catching up with her career, Jepsen rose to fame in 2011 with ear candy like ‘Call Me Maybe’, which sold 12.5 million copies worldwide. The song went through the typical life cycle of any viral song, but before anyone could forget about her, Jepsen quickly followed it up with another top hit, ‘Good Time’, in collaboration with Owl City. In the following years, Jepsen continued to release upbeat lovesick or lovelorn synth-pop songs like ‘I Really Like You’, ‘Boy Problems’ and ‘Cut to the Feeling’, all of which sound like confetti coming out of a cannon.

Hongkongers have the chance to belt out all her hit songs at Rotunda 2, KITEC, on October 25. Tickets are $850 and will be available for public sale on Cityline from 10am on August 30

We really, really, really, really, really, really can’t wait.
