Earlier this year, The Michelin Guide Hong Kong added five new venues to its annual selection of recommended eateries. Since August, the Guide has added new recommended venues from Hong Kong and Macau on its website and app on every second Wednesday of every other month – and they’ve just unveiled four new restaurant additions.
This month’s newly recognised additions include modern Chinese plant-based fine-dining venue Yuan, which serves meticulously crafted vegetarian and vegan-friendly cuisine, and Italian-Mediterranean eatery Juno which whips up crowd-pleasing dishes like seafood fideo ‘a la cazuela’ or Ibérican-style meatballs.
The other two new recommended venues on the list are renowned Japanese chef Terufumi Mihara’s teppanyaki joint, Teppanyaki Mihara Goten, which offers kappo-style teppanyaki fused with global influences like French, Italian, and Chinese cuisine; and formerly private dining institution, Chiu Ka Banquet, a humble Chinese eatery churning out classics from Chiu Chow cuisine, like pork tripe peppercorn soup with salted mustard green as well as braised goose in lo sui marinade.
Keep an eye on our website to see more updates as Michelin Guide releases more venues throughout the year.
