The 2025 Michelin Guide Hong Kong & Macau was unveiled on March 13 at the Grand Lisboa Palace Resort. This year’s edition celebrates a whopping 260 restaurants across the two regions, spanning Starred, Bib Gourmand, and Selected food establishments. Read on to check out the stars of the show this year.

Three Michelin-starred restaurants in Hong Kong and Macau
A total of nine dining establishments have been honoured with three stars, with seven in Hong Kong and two in Macau: 8 1/2 Otto e Mezzo – Bombana, Caprice, Forum, Amber, Sushi Shikon, Ta Vie, T’ang Court, Jade Dragon (Macau), and Robuchon au Dôme (Macau).
Among these standout restaurants, Amber sees the spotlight as it moves from two to three stars this year thanks to Dutch-born chef Richard Ekkebus’s consistent creativity, commitment to sustainability, and approach to dairy-free cooking.

Two Michelin-starred restaurants in Hong Kong and Macau
11 Hong Kong restaurants were recognised with two stars in this year’s guide, including Arbor, Bo Innovation, Lai Ching Heen, L’Envol, Lung King Heen, Noi by Paulo Airaudo, Octavium, Rùn, Tate, Tin Lung Heen, and Ying Jee Club.
Over in Macau, Alain Ducasse at Morpheus, Chef Tam’s Seasons, Feng Wei Ju, The Eight, The Huaiyang Garden, and Wing Lei nabbed two stars. In particular, Chef Tam’s Seasons was promoted to two stars for its unique dining concept by chef Tam Kwok-Fung.

One Michelin-starred restaurants in Hong Kong and Macau
This year, 69 restaurants in both Hong Kong and Macau received one Michelin star, with three Hong Kong restaurants – Ami, Plaisance by Mauro Colagreco, and Tuber Umberto Bombana – joining the club. Meanwhile, Macau sees four new one Michelin star additions, including Aji, Mizumi, Sushi Kissho by Miyakawa, and Zuicho.
Michelin Guide special awards
The 2025 guide also recognised outstanding individuals in the industry. Carlito Chiu from one Michelin-starred restaurant Andō received the Michelin Guide Sommelier Award for his continuous dedication and exceptional wine pairings. Frankie Sui Wan Wong from Ankôma was awarded the Michelin Guide Young Chef Award for his innovative fusion of French cuisine with Asian elements, especially Japanese ingredients. Winnie Zhang from two Michelin-starred restaurant Wing Lei in Macau earned the Michelin Guide Service Award for her thoughtful and attentive service.
