Though all good things must come to an end, the Hong Kong International Chamber Music Festival ends as big as any festival can end, with a programme beginning with a work by the composer-in-residence, Brett Dean, entitled Huntington Eulogy, which features up-and-coming cellist Nicholas Canellakis. The piece is followed by Schumann's spectacular Piano Quartet in Eb major and French late Romantic composer Ernest Chausson's Concerto in D Major for Piano, Violin and String Quartet.
