Over six weekends in November and December, Musicus Society will present seven programmes featuring musicians from France, Poland, Germany, Italy, and the Netherlands, as well as local performers. Highlights include string ensemble Musicus Soloists Hong Kong performing the Asian premiere of Umbra on November 23 after the double concerto debuts in Paris earlier in the month; a solo recital by emerging pianist virtuoso Zach Cheong Hoi-leong on November 30; and a family-friendly re-run of Marco Polo’s Musical Encounter of East and West, featuring both Chinese and Western musical instruments.

The festival closes with the renowned Sinfonia Varsovia from Poland and cellist Trey Lee, performing works by Czech master Antonín Dvořák and Polish composer Witold Lutosławski. Tickets run from $120 to $580 depending on the show, and there are also discounts of up to 20 percent for purchasing tickets to more of Musicus Fest 2024’s concerts.

We’re sure Blackjacks all over Hong Kong are in a frenzy right now! The second-generation K-pop queens will be doing an Asia tour as additional concerts for their 15th anniversary celebrations, and our city is first on their list. This tour is all the more momentous since the group has not been active as a full quartet since 2016, and have just announced earlier in July of this year that they will be reuniting.

After playing Hong Kong on December 8, CL, Sandara Park, Park Bom, and Minzy will then head to Singapore, Manila, Jakarta, and two other cities that have yet to be announced. Ticketing details and even the concert venue are not yet available at the time of writing, but we’ll be updating when we have more information.

English singer-songwriter James Blunt is returning to Hong Kong towards the end of this year! The singer of the early noughties’ hit You’re Beautiful will take the stage at AsiaWorld-Expo, following the release of his seventh studio album ‘Who We Used to Be’ last year. Judging from accounts of the tour, which is already ongoing through Europe, fans can expect to hear a good mix of uptempo songs, the soulful ballads that Blunt is most known for, and some of his trusty classics.

Apart from You’re Beautiful, highlight tracks of this concert include Glow, Postcards, his debut single High, and Dark Thought (which was written for his friend and actor Carrie Fisher as he came to terms with her passing). Tickets run from $980 to $1,380, and are on sale now.

If you missed seeing Charlie Puth when he played in Hong Kong last October, then perk up now! Hongkongers can simply hop on a ferry ride to see the Grammy-nominated singer-songwriter on stage in Macau at the end of this year.

The multi-platinum hitmaker has had some absolute bangers over the years such as Attention, We Don’t Talk Anymore, See You Again, and Left and Right, so concertgoers will be in for a real treat. Puth is also currently working on his fourth studio album, and we’re praying he’ll play a sneak peek or two!

Tickets run from $588 to $1,688, and there are also two VIP experiences that can be tacked on at an additional cost. The Learn Something New experience costs $1,400 and includes access to a pre-show Q&A with Puth himself, a VIP-exclusive merch item, VIP-exclusive prints and laminate, and a dedicated merch lane. On the other hand, the Fast Track VIP add-on is $720 and will get you all the above merch benefits without the meeting with the singer.

Following the announcement that their new LP X’s will be dropping on July 12, Cigarettes After Sex will also be going on a world tour that will extend into 2025. The band’s slowcore, raw, pop sound is gradually drawing from slow dance inspiration from the 70s and 80s. Their music has always been easy to sink into with a sensuality that has become part of their signature sound. As the trio will only arrive in town on tour early next year, ticketing details have yet to be announced, but check back for updates!

Japanese boy band Naniwa Danshi has announced that Hong Kong will be the third stop on their +Alpha tour, after Taipei and Seoul. Though this is their first time ever on a Hong Kong stage, the seven members are ready to bring a big dose of youthful energy with two nights of their music and performances. Naniwa Danshi is the fourth group under Japan’s Starto Entertainment to consist of members who mainly come from the Kansai region – other music acts who also had this trait were KinKi Kids, Super Eight (formerly Kanjani8), and West. This +Alpha tour follows the release of the band’s third album of the same name, and judging by the 42 shows across nine Japanese cities that they’ve already done, we’re in for a show. Ticketing details have yet to be announced, so check back for more.

Singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist keshi is going on tour for the release of his sophomore album ‘Requiem’. Kicking off in early October, he will be visiting 35 cities across North America, Europe, Australia, and Asia – which includes Hong Kong. This world tour announcement comes hot on the heels of his latest hit Say, and fans are no doubt eagerly awaiting his upcoming album to be released on September 13 so we can hype ourselves up to see keshi live. Tickets range from $599 to $2,600 – the most expensive tier includes access to the pre-show soundcheck party, a VIP-exclusive print signed by keshi, a premium merch package, and early access to both the performance hall and the merch stand.
