The brilliantly talented Japanese singer-songwriter Fujii Kaze is returning to play in Hong Kong after hitting up Hong Kong Baptist University for an intimate auditorium show on his first world tour last year. This time, he is happily scaling things up to arena and stadium scale, following on from his ‘Feelin’ Good’ two-day live shows in Japan.
Kicking off in Singapore on October 26, Fujii will be rocking things up in Kuala Lumpur, Bangkok, Taipei, Jakarta, and Hong Kong, before heading on to Manila, Seoul, and more cities to be announced. Mark your calendars for Wednesday, December 4! Tickets for Fujii Kaze’s concert at the AsiaWorld-Arena will start at $699 – check back for updates on when they’ll be released.
Japanese boy band Naniwa Danshi has announced that Hong Kong will be the third stop on their +Alpha tour, after Taipei and Seoul. Though this is their first time ever on a Hong Kong stage, the seven members are ready to bring a big dose of youthful energy with two nights of their music and performances. Naniwa Danshi is the fourth group under Japan’s Starto Entertainment to consist of members who mainly come from the Kansai region – other music acts who also had this trait were KinKi Kids, Super Eight (formerly Kanjani8), and West. This +Alpha tour follows the release of the band’s third album of the same name, and judging by the 42 shows across nine Japanese cities that they’ve already done, we’re in for a show. Ticketing details have yet to be announced, so check back for more.
Update, October 29:
The ‘keshi: Requiem Tour’ was supposed to be held on February 20, but has now been rescheduled to Friday, February 21, 2025. The venue and time remain unchanged, taking place in the AsiaWorld-Arena at 8pm. Concert-goers who have already secured tickets will not need to make any changes as the venue will allow entry with tickets bearing the original date. Ticket sales have been halted temporarily, and will resume on Tuesday, October 29, from 3pm.
Singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist keshi is going on tour for the release of his sophomore album ‘Requiem’. Kicking off in early October, he will be visiting 35 cities across North America, Europe, Australia, and Asia – which includes Hong Kong. This world tour announcement comes hot on the heels of his latest hit Say, and fans are no doubt eagerly awaiting his upcoming album to be released on September 13 so we can hype ourselves up to see keshi live. Tickets range from $599 to $2,600 – the most expensive tier includes access to the pre-show soundcheck party, a VIP-exclusive print signed by keshi, a premium merch package, and early access to both the performance hall and the merch stand.
Japanese singer-songwriter Ado is returning to Hong Kong for her second world tour Hibana towards the middle of next year. Kicking off in Japan in April, the Hibana tour will take place in cities like Bangkok, Manila, Taipei, and Seoul, before arriving in Hong Kong and other Asian and Australian cities in May, followed by Europe, North America, and Latin America.
‘Hibana’ means ‘spark’ in Japanese, and we’re sure the 22-year-old is bringing enough talent to light up the entire AsiaWorld-Arena. Expect to hear plenty of tracks from Ado’s second album Zanmu, and hopefully some of her previous hits like ‘Gira Gira’ and her breakthrough single ‘Usseewa’.
If you missed Ado when she was in town for her Wish debut world tour earlier this year, then mark your calendars! Ticket prices have yet to be released, but the organiser’s pre-sale will begin on November 19 at 10am – use the code CruchyrollxAdo to access the ticketing page on the official tour website. Tickets for the general public will then be available on November 22 at 10am.
