Phenomenal Russo-German violinist Alina Pogostkina makes her Hong Kong debut with our own Hong Kong Sinfonietta on a three work programme. The violinist herself plays Beethoven's Violin Concert in D, while Christoph Poppen conducts that and two other spectacular works, Anton Webern's tone poem Im Sommerwind, and Johannes Brahms Symphony No 3 in F.
