To honour the 25th anniversary of Manchester United’s treble-winning season, Marriott Hotels launched the Suite of Dreams at Old Trafford. With views overlooking the famous pitch, football fans and Marriott Bonvoy members were able to stay overnight at Manchester United’s home stadium and be transported back to the Red Devils’ most dominant era, as well as enjoy exclusive experiences such as tours of the training grounds and visit the pitch on a match day.

Many Hongkongers have long been fans of Manchester United so now, we can also get to have a similar Old Trafford Stadium sleepover – without even leaving the city.

Marriott Hotels has unveiled its first-ever Marriott Hotels Suite of Dreams in the Greater China region, and we’re thrilled that they’ve chosen Hong Kong as their new location. Sitting within the Hong Kong Ocean Park Marriott Hotel, these unique rooms bring the best of English football culture off the pitch and into the luxurious setting of a hotel.

The Hong Kong Ocean Park Marriott Hotel is now home to not only one, but two Marriott Hotels Suite of Dreams. Both rooms have been meticulously designed to pay tribute to Manchester United’s historic treble-winning season. Themed decorations and details are just waiting to be noticed, transporting fans back to the league-defining season of the late 90s.

The family room features furniture styled like football players’ lockers, as well as customised window decals that make it look like guests are viewing a Manchester United home game. We might not be able to directly overlook the pitch at Old Trafford Stadium here in Hong Kong, but sleeping over at our local Marriott Hotels Suite of Dreams sure comes as a close second.

Meanwhile, strut through the historic photo entrance of the hotel and into the executive suite option to find a walk-in closet that has been modelled after the football team’s locker room. There’s even a foosball table – in a striking shade of red, of course – that adds a playfully apt touch. If all the football memorabilia surrounding you doesn’t get you into a cheering, competitive mood, then a friendly game of foosball will definitely do the trick.

An Old Trafford Stadium sleepover in Hong Kong might not come with the opportunity to see Manchester United stars in person, but the legendary centre back Wes Brown came to town in person to unveil the Marriott Hotels Suite of Dreams, so these new rooms definitely contain some true football star power.
