Irish choreographer Michael Keegan-Dolan reinterprets Tchaikovsky’s classic ballet in the context of the 2000 shooting of the bipolar and clinically depressed John Carthy by Irish police. Minimalist set pieces, contemporary dance and the exploration of such heavy themes as psychological illness and sexual abuse, be prepared for a heavy experience with the human condition to close out this year’s New Vision Arts Festival.
