It might not seem it with the current sunshine and blue skies but Hong Kong is set for another typhoon this weekend.
Just days after T10 typhoon Hato blasted through town leaving significant flooding and debris in its wake – making it one of the worst storms in recent years – the Hong Kong Observatory announced this morning that tropical cyclone Pakhar is intensifying. A T1 signal has been raised and the Observatory has said that as the storm moves closer to Hong Kong in the evening, it may consider raising the signal to a T3.
Hongkongers should still be able to enjoy a Saturday night out but be careful and be prepared, just in case.
