This September 19-23, head to Ozone to quaff a cocktail or two at a Death & Co. pop-up, led by the bar's own Tyson Buhler, World Class American Bartender of the Year 2015.

Voted one of the World’s 50 Best Bars in 2016, Death & Co. has been shaking up stellar cocktails since 2006 in Manhattan’s East Village and is recognised for its contribution to the modern craft cocktail movement, putting an innovative spin on classic recipes. A decorated drinking den, the speakeasy has also won the Best American Cocktail Bar and World’s Best Cocktail Menu at the Tales of the Cocktail Spirited Awards in 2010.

Here's a sneak peak at some of the drinks to expect at the pop-up:

The Martini (pictured above) is Death & Co.'s take on a traditional martini with Ketel One vodka, sherry and an olive and bay leaf tincture. Sour, featuring a fruit-infused Bulleit Rye whisky, packs a refreshing sour punch with lemon, grapefruits and raspberry. A nod to the classic Tom Collins, Death & Co.'s Collins blends Tanqueray No. Ten gin, rum, cane syrup, eucalyptus extract and seltzer water for a bubbly bevvie. Fix (pictured below) expertly mixes Don Julio Reposado tequila with lime, vanilla syrup, mango puree and salt, beautified with an edible flower garnish.

There will also be some ballast for the boozy proceedings, courtesy of Ozone’s chef de cuisine Rafael Gil. The Ozone-Dog is a posh hotdog with crispy onion, homemade ketchup and mustard and the Wagyu BLT-Ozone burger is topped with melted cheddar, crispy bacon and chef’s secret recipe burger sauce, served with rustic fries.

So, we'll see you there for a cheeky drink and a hot dog, shall we?
