New US Open champion Sloane Stephens to play at HK Tennis Open

Fresh off her US Open triumph this month, grand slam champion Sloane Stephens is confirmed to be bringing her star power to the Hong Kong Tennis Open next month.

Stephens joins the already exciting lineup of female tennis stars at the tournament taking place at Victoria Park Tennis Stadium on October 7-15. Other big names joining her include Venus Williams, former world number one Caroline Wozniacki and current world number seven Johanna Konta. The city’s biggest tennis tournament also sees the return of Taiwanese duo Chan Yung-jan and Chan Hao-ching to defend their doubles’ title.
