ZS Hospitality have closed Lyndhurst Terrace restaurants My Tai Tai and Ee Da Le after less than a year in operation.
Following poor reviews for both and the sudden departure of Harlan Goldstein, the chef behind the original concepts (whose visage on hoarding on Lyndhurst was subject to vandalism), the news comes as little surprise.
Set to replace the two restaurants is two-storey Japanese concept Yakimon and Sakana no Aji. The latter will serve sushi while Yakimon focuses on grilled and fried options.
ZS are also set to open Ying Jee Club next to Moi Moi, the company’s Luke Nguyen-helmed Vietnamese restaurant, in Central’s Nexxus Building. Helmed by former Duddell’s chef Siu Hin-chi, the Chinese fine dining spot is due to open late this summer.
