After delays to big projects like the South Island Line and the Macau-Zhuhai bridge, it’s reassuring that Hong Kong can still get the little things done right on time. Out of action for almost six months, Lantau’s Ngong Ping 360 cable car has reopened on schedule in time for the attraction’s 10th anniversary (yes, it really has been that long already).
The attraction was temporarily shuttered while owners MTR Corporation replaced the cable. Now back in action, the cable car is celebrating its ‘tin’ anniversary by offering customers a special 15 percent discount on its 1+1 Standard & Crystal Round Trip tickets via its webstore. Perfect for anyone with visitors planning to come this summer or those us simply too lazy to hike to Tian Tan Buddha.
