The flagship bar at House 1881 serves a range of top-shelf whiskies alongside excellent locally-inspired cocktails – the Teaspresso replicates the flavour of yuen yeung, the uniquely Hong Kong blend of milk tea and coffee – and draft beer from Young Master. The space is decorated with black-and-white photos of old Hong Kong. In the back of the bar, there are three holding cells that were once used to lock up unruly pirates and sailors.
