Homegrown gin label Tankyu Distillery – the creators behind Hong Kong’s first gin, Perfume Trees Gin – has opened a new bar on Hollywood Road, shaking up various unique cocktails using their famous gin, fruit wines, and coffee liqueur.
The bar offers a modern twist on classic cocktails, such as the Floral Bee’s Knees, which blends their famous gin with honey for a sweet, floral finish, and the Perfume Lady, a fresh take on the classic White Lady, with Perfume Trees Gin as the base and egg white for a silky-smooth texture. For coffee lovers, the bar also serves coffee cocktails made with their very own coffee liqueur, as well as locally-roasted Ethiopian coffee beans, personally selected by Urban Coffee Roaster founder Gary Au.
In addition to drinks, the bar serves a variety of dishes infused with their signature spirits. Highlights include Perfume Trees Gin-cured tomatoes stuffed with smoked salmon and cucumber mousse, crab pasta with Perfume Trees Gin, and the coffee liqueur-infused tiramisu.
