Following its pop-up at Ozone this year, Johnnie Walker returns to Hong Kong with another present for epicureans. The famous whisky producer’s Blue Label Bothy (a bothy being a basic refuge in the hills and mountains of Scotland and other parts of the UK) is a joint venture with Le Comptoir restaurant group and will showcase rare whiskies and food pairings from chefs Noël Berard of Écriture and Nicholas Chew, executive chef of Bibo.
Open to the public for two days, there will be lunch and dinner seatings for 15 diners each in a private dining setting. The occasion will showcase some of the exceptional whiskies that are blended to make Johnnie Walk Blue Label including an incredibly rare 1975 Cambus single cask expression.
The session costs $1,820 per person, which includes a 75cl commemorative engraved bottle of Johnnie Walker Blue Label.
