Filipino restobar Dara, in partnership with soon-to-open Filipino fusion coffee and bar, Merienda, is hosting a pop-up event that lets you discover more about the rich culture of the Philippines through food and artisan products. The event is happening on June 11, from 12pm to 10pm. During the event, you can indulge in Pinoy-style lunch and snacks, flavoured pastries from Purple Flour Hong Kong, and enjoy live music sessions. You can also shop for Filipino retail brands such as sustainable brand Xyza, ethical fashion brand, The Blomstre, which sells eco-soy candles and home fragrances, and fine jewellery brand, Arao, which showcases South Sea pearl jewellery. Queen of Pentacles will also be present to provide enlightening readings.
To complete the experience, you can sip on Dara's cocktails, which donate all proceeds to Phenomenally Pink, a proactive community that empowers women diagnosed, in treatment, and recovering from breast cancer.
