The indoor observation deck has prepared plenty of holiday entertainment, from dazzling Christmas decorations and live K-pop performances to robot tours and culinary delights. Read on to see what to expect at sky100’s Sky-High Christmas Party in HK Style’ from December 16 to January 5, 2025.

Christmas at sky100

Festive vibes

It won’t be Christmas without lots of pretty decorations, and sky100 has added a distinctly Hong Kong touch to its photo-worthy aesthetic. Alongside a 2.7-metre-tall Christmas tree, you'll find a miniature recreation of a classic cha chaan teng, a ‘beach pop-up’ with an ice cream motorcycle, and a charming little fruit market.

But the fun doesn't stop there – sky100 is also giving away 20 surprise gifts each day during the festivities. Keep an eye out on their socials for the event codeword and let the staff know at the Observation Deck to receive a mystery gift!

Live entertainment

On December 19, seven-piece K-pop girl group ICHILLIN’ will be putting on a performance and interacting with fans up close and personal. It’s a rare opportunity to see Korean music acts in such intimate venues, so be sure to join this musical celebration, especially if you’re part of their Willing fandom.

Culinary experiences

Located on the west side of the Observation Deck, Café 100 by The Ritz Carlton, Hong Kong will be offering a German afternoon tea until January 1, 2025. Enjoy eight savoury and sweet treats, such as prawn and guacamole bites bun, pastrami and gherkin yoghurt mini wrap, German sausage and sauerkraut art, Black Forest verrine, and Christmas stollen scone. This fusion of classic German ingredients makes for an interesting take on your usual afternoon tea sets, and taste all the better when paired with the panoramic views of the Hong Kong coastline. Priced from $628, the German afternoon tea experience includes standard admission for two people up to sky100, and the tea set for two with coffee or tea, with no additional service charge.

Alternatively, kick your festive date night up a notch with the Christmas dinner at Café 100, available only on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. Start off with a scallop crudo before choosing between pan-fried halibut or slow-roasted turkey roulade for mains, and wrap things up with a chestnut mascarpone pear cake. Vegetarian friends are also well catered for with a vegetarian menu. This four-course dinner is available for $894 per person.

Lucky mascot MoMo

Who needs carollers when sky100’s beloved MoMo will be making appearances and entertaining visitors with Yuletide carols on Christmas Day? The mascot will be debuting a new look at its meet and greet session, with a hat shaped like the ICC and a sky-blue dress trimmed with clouds. Snap photos with the giant 1.8-meter MoMo display for a dose of festive cheer and good luck as the year wraps up.

Robot tours

Embrace the future of modernity and join sky100’s new robot-guided tours to explore the observation deck through technology. Two robots will be splitting duties – ‘Sky No. 1’ will provide information on the scenery over the east coast, introduce the West Kowloon Cultural District and Hong Kong’s skyscrapers, and take visitors to the gift shop on the south side of the building, while ‘Sky No. 2’ will go over views of the northwest, as well as Hong Kong stories on the interactive story wall. This unique robot-guided tour experience is sure to add an innovative touch to your sky100 visit.

With mouthwatering food, robot tour guides, and the best city views of Hong Kong, Christmas up at sky100 is bound to be a fresh, memorable experience. See the full schedule of festive activities on their website.
