Chinese-American painter Wang Chuan presents more than dozen representative paintings he created across 20 years. Having started painting during the Cultural Revolution in the 1960s, the exhibition demonstrates Wang’s evolution throughout his career. Wang uses abstract ink paintings, expressive brushstrokes and linear geometric patterns to express his struggles and emotions, which include his battle with health problems and life experiences.
