Tobias Gutmann: Face-o-mat

Swiss artist Tobias Gutmann creates abstract human portraits in real time based on simple lines and forms as part of his series Face-o-mat. Taking his celebrated series on the road through Papua New Guinea and Japan,  Gutmann arrives in Hong Kong creating abstract interpretation of our local faces. Performing two hours daily, the artist hopes to encourage audiences to rethink familiar objects and challenge their expectations.
