Satoshi Katayama: Brush/柔

Sin Sin Man and WADO Project are collaborating to bring Japanese artist’s Satoshi Katayama’s “Water” series to Hong Kong. In this series, Satoshi demonstrates to audiences how actual meaning of his kanji characters are in fact, secondary to the fluidity of brushstrokes. The characters are used simply as metaphors to create a spiritual connection with the audience, relating to the formless nothingness of water.
