Richard X Zawitz: Civilisation and the Monkey

Renowned American sculptor Richard X Zawitz is unveiling 19 new sculptures that explore the development of human civilization and evolution as witnessed through the eyes of our primate cousins: monkeys. Each sculpture represents different historical and cultural archetypes, ranging from happiness, which is represented by a laughing monkey to evil, portrayed by a sinister looking monkey holding an AK-47.
