Following her successful showcase at the world-renowned Victoria and Albert Museum in London, British sculptor Rachel Kneebone is presenting new sculptures and drawings exploring themes of transformation and metamorphosis. Debuting for the first time in Hong Kong and China, Kneebone's exceptional porcelains sculptures are detailed, intricate and sensual, consists of architectural and geometric forms as well as body parts to examine constant shift between figuration and abstraction.
Her latest series is inspired by themes from the poems of Ovid, Kneebone delves the concepts of evolution and desire, and the line that separates the actual and the metaphorical.
