Mickalene Thomas: The Desire of the Other

American artist Mickalene Thomas presents her first solo exhibition in Hong Kong. Known for her bold portrayals of women of colour, and incorporating materials like rhinestones in her collage paintings, this exhibition features seven representative canvases from her impressive body of work, challenging our definition of beauty, femininity and sexuality.
