Famed for his interpretation of women figures from the history of art, the acclaimed Spanish artist Manolo Valdés will be unveiling his masterpieces at Opera Gallery in time for Women's History Month this March. Both a painter and a sculptor, Valdés uses his art as a visual language to honour the female figure, through weaving in the narratives of Greek mythology inspired by Clio, the muse of intelligence and history.
Aside from the artworks, Opera Gallery is also taking initiatives to honour both Women's History Month and International Women's Day. Guests are invited to take part in the #HeForShe global campaign to encourage people of all genders to understand the idea of gender equality.
