Luis Chan Studio

The Luis Chan Studio is an exhibition that offers a glimpse into the life and work of Hong Kong artist Luis Chan, also known to many as 'Fuk Bak'. Chan lived and worked in a home studio located in Wan Chai, where he drew inspiration from the surrounding streetscape, waterfront, and local shops. This exhibition is an interpretive recreation of Chan's studio, featuring personal belongings such as furniture, paintings, and books that have been relocated from his apartment to recreate the original living environment. Visitors can view his creative space through a glass window and learn about his artistic journey and the development of styles through historical photos and written records. Fans of the artist can also get their hands on limited Luis Chan souvenirs available at Hong Kong Arts Centre's Art Shop.
