Kate Sparrow: I am Woman

Hong Kong-based artist Kate Sparrow is celebrating the women of Hong Kong with this three day-only art exhibition. Presenting a series of powerful yet intimate oil and acrylic portraits of strong, inspirational Hong Kong women, Sparrow based on her works on the amazing ladies she’s met over the years. These include Daniella Means, a national record holder in powerlifting in Singapore and Hong Kong and former national rugby player for the Hong Kong team; Giselle Lui, dancer, choreographer and performance artist; and Bowie Lam, founder of Teen’s Key, a charity dedicated to improving the lives of vulnerable young women and girls in Hong Kong. For IWD, there’s will be a live performance and a chance for viewers to meet Sparrow herself.
